Overview
Kerala boasts of the best health statistics in India, comparable to those in the Western world, and also of “quality care at low cost”. Health is the vital ingredient of all developmental activities. Let's analyse the factors responsible for this. The standard of the medical education delivery system in the state is definitely one of the major factors in achieving this goal. The State needs well-qualified manpower to handle the health-related problems and promote positive health. The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. The department also plays a role in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions.
KIMSHEALTH is a 650-bed, multi-speciality tertiary care hospital established in 2001, where a competent team of specialists and sophisticated technology come together to deliver high-quality medical care. KIMSHEALTH has a strong academic base and has focused on quality education since its inception.
