Established in 2002 as the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), now known as KIMSHEALTH, our institution has evolved into a distinguished center for advanced medical care and postgraduate medical education. Within just two years of its inception, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) recognized the excellence of our faculty and approved DNB programs in Cardiology and Radiology. Today, KIMSHEALTH stands as one of India’s largest private postgraduate medical institutions, offering 28 specialties, including 14 super specialties (DrNB) and 14 broad specialties (DNB).
Our commitment to academic excellence is reflected in consistently high pass rates in DNB final examinations and the remarkable accomplishments of our graduates. Gold medalists in specialties such as Cardiology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Respiratory Medicine, and General Surgery have emerged from our institution. Notably, in 2018, our dedication to teaching and clinical excellence was recognized with the National Award from the Association of National Board Accredited Institutions (ANBAI) on behalf of NBEMS.
The Skill Lab at KIMSHEALTH Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre has been empaneled by NBEMS, New Delhi, for the training of NBEMS trainees. This initiative enhances the practical and clinical competencies of medical professionals, ensuring they receive training aligned with the highest standards of healthcare education.
At KIMSHEALTH, we provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, including advanced laboratories, libraries, and clinical facilities that support high-quality patient care and innovative research. Our commitment to continuous learning is demonstrated through regular national, international, and state-level CMEs, workshops, and webcasts. The active academic contributions of our faculty to reputed national and international indexed journals further affirm our commitment to the advancement of medical science.
