The Background

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s leading healthcare provider, KIMSHEALTH, has its latest medical facility – KIMSHEALTH Hospital in Umm Al Hassam. With this hospital, KIMSHEALTH has become the largest provider in the country’s private healthcare space with two hospitals and four medical centers.

The launch of KIMSHEALTH Hospital represents KIMSHEALTH’s promise to deliver value based care, which is quality care at an affordable price. The hospital allows greater accessibility to healthcare, increases the geographical reach of KIMSHEALTH and brings its services closer to the people of Bahrain.

The KIMSHEALTH Hospital is located in the residential area of Umm Al Hassam and is just 400 meters away from the existing KIMSHEALTH Medical Center, on the old Asian School premises. KIMSHEALTH Hospital is designed to provide – inpatient and outpatient services, operating rooms, maternity, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology and emergency services. Some of the specialties the Hospital will be providing include – General Practice, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dermatology & Cosmetology, Dentistry, Physiotherapy and many more. In addition to the new doctors and specialties that will be added to the hospital, the existing doctors from KIMSHEALTH Medical Center will be available at the new hospital. This will ensure continuity of care for existing patients especially those who need to undergo surgeries or require inpatient care. KIMSHEALTH Hospital will excel in patient experience with new and big space and better parking amenities.

Over the years, KIMSHEALTH has earned an exemplary reputation for its quality of service, care and affordability. The new KIMSHEALTH Hospital will provide communities and existing patients of KIMSHEALTH Hospital seamless access to all of our new services.

KIMSHEALTH Hospital aims to cater to the affordable segment of the society and will offer a wide number of services.

KIMSHEALTH Hospital belongs to the India-based KIMSHEALTH, which already has a strong foothold in Southern India. KIMSHEALTH has a total of 23 institutions in India and Gulf comprising of hospitals and medical centers. In GCC, KIMSHEALTH has its presence in Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and UAE.

The healthcare sector in the GCC region is experiencing rapid transformation through expansion. Encouraged by this trend, KIMSHEALTH is entering into an exciting new growth phase with a view of increasing our current network and contribution towards the development of the sector.

As a brand, we continue to evolve on the back of our strengths and core values in India and the GCC region. Presently, we have 23 hospitals and medical centers, bed capacity of more than 2,000 and employee strength of 7,000. Our GCC footprint is spread across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and the UAE, and we aim to move ahead with a firm determination of bringing world-class facilities near to you.

Quality and patient safety come first at KIMSHEALTH, and this is reflected at all levels. Most of our hospitals and several of our medical centers are duly accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI), a globally renowned independent authority on quality standards in the healthcare sector.

In terms of patient communication, we are consistently improving ourselves to align with the best of the platforms. New touchpoints have been developed to ease the information and communication flow and we are constantly innovating to enhance the patient experience.
