KIMS Al Shifa Hospital’s Cath Lab renders full service, providing complete cardiovascular care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Heart Center’s cath lab offers our patients the most advanced technology for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disease.
Diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral angioplasties performed in the laboratory include: hemodynamic cardiac catheterization and angiography, balloon valvuloplasty, atrial septostomy, embolization of vascular anomalies including patent ductus arteriosus, myocardial biopsy, endovascular stent placement, device closure of atrial and ventricular septal defects, vascular dilatation and vascular stenting.
The patient volume continues to grow for the KIMS Al Shifa Hospital cath lab along with the number of procedures available to patients and their families. The catheterization laboratory at KIMS Al Shifa takes great lengths to offer our patients the most advanced technology for cardiovascular treatment. We perform procedures that many hospitals do not.
