What are the treatment options??

  • All children with developmental concerns will need a medical evaluation to rule out medical problems like thyroid disease; iron deficiency; vision or hearing problem.

  • Medications can be used in certain situations to treat associated problems.

  • The mainstay of treatment is early intervention.

  • In children with minor developmental problems ; we offer developmental stimulation and parent training

  • Children with more significant delays may need multidisciplinary interventions including speech therapy; physiotherapy, occupational therapy , behaviour therapy , remedial education etc
