General Practice

General Practice

Our General Practitioners (GPs) will focus on  the treatment of acute non-life-threatening diseases and chronic health problems;  the early detection and referral for specialized care; and preventative care including health education and immunization; which is neither limited to any particular area of medicine/ specialty nor limited by age, gender, body system, disease process or service site.

Procedures & Treatments

General practitioners provide general diagnosis for patients in all aspects of general medicine to ensure early detection and intervention for those at risk and advise them on the best course of action. This may be through recommending further testing, prescribing medication, recommending a change in the patient’s lifestyle or by referring them to a specialist.
