Experience in working in other health setups particularly in national health service in the UK, where I have worked from 2004 to 2021 until I moved back to India. I continue remote consultations and radiotherapy work in the national health service

Application of evidence-based medicine in the management of adult malignancies

Prior training in Geriatric medicine helps me to tailor radiotherapy treatments in an appropriate way to suit the fitness and tolerability of elderly patients

My previous experience working as a Clinical oncologist has given me a holistic outlook on the management of adult malignancies rather than from a pure radiation oncology perspective

Conversant with external beam radiotherapy and its technical advancements including IMRT ( intensity-modulated radiotherapy ) IGRT ( image-guided radiotherapy ), VMAT ( volumetric modulated arc therapy, ablative radiotherapy techniques such as SBRT or SABR ( stereotactic body radiotherapy )  SRS / SRT ( stereotactic radiotherapy techniques for the brain ) and brachytherapy for gynecological malignancies

SSpecial areas of interest include prostate, bladder, Gastrointestinal and breast cancers
